We are seeking an experienced HR professional for the role of Group Human Resources Manager. You will provide strategic HR support, ensure a balanced and skilled workforce, and offer training and development opportunities to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organisational Development

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement organisational development strategies.
  • Conduct organisational assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement change management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating human resources policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and enforce human resources policies, procedures, programmes, and applicable labour laws to employees.
  • Prepare periodic analytics, reports, and proposals to track strategic goal accomplishment and for efficient operation of the department and the company.
  • Make recommendations for the improvement of the human resources department and company.
  • Visit business sites when necessary to attend department meetings and handle employee concerns.
  • Administer the company’s health and life insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain the employee handbook.
  • Lead the company's standard recruitment and hiring practices and procedures necessary to engage competent workforce in accordance with the company’s policies.
  • Lead the recruitment process in accordance with company policy, including preparing advertisements, shortlisting applicants, conducting interviews, background checks, generating engagement contracts, and onboarding employees in accordance with the company’s procedures.
  • Maintain the work structure by reviewing and updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Develop and implement succession planning strategies.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees.
  • Work with leadership to develop career paths and training programmes.

 

2. Performance Management

  • Develop and implement performance management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Develop and maintain performance evaluation systems.


3. Employment Relations

  • Ensure legal compliance with regional and international labour laws and advise staff on the company's  disciplinary process in accordance with the policy manual.
  • Ensure all disciplinary matters and employee concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with company policy.
  • Manage employee relations issues.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees.
  • Design and implement an employee engagement programme.

 

4. Talent Management

 

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies.
  • Identify and develop talent within the organisation.
  • Work with leadership to create and implement career development plans.
  • Equip staff with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation to carry out their work activities effectively through the administration of the E-learning platform and coordinating external training requirements for staff.
  • Act as the first point of contact for training requests.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with business managers.
  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual.
  • Collaborate with the management team to design programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the organisation, such as line managers, accountants, and senior managers at board level, using a learning management system.
  • Develop effective induction programmes for new recruits, apprentices, and graduate trainees.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.

 

Requirements:

1. Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or an equivalent area of study
  • Professional Certificate in HR from CIPD, HRCI or SHRM.
  • Training in Project Management would be an asset

 

2. Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the field of HR, Organisational Development, Management or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to lead initiatives through from concept to delivery.   
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies on local and regional employment laws and regulations. 
  • Ability to design and implement full-cycle strategic HR programmes in areas such as, but not limited to, Leadership and Change Management. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems
  • Ability to manage budgets and forecast HR needs.
