HR Administrator (6-month renewable Contract)

The ideal candidate will contribute and provide support to the development and maintenance of the Human Resources Department in keeping with the strategic direction of the company.

Main Duties Include

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Maintain an effective Records Management System.
  • Assist with policy preparation and documentation.
  • Monitor staff attendance, leave administration, etc.
  • Assist with the New Hire Orientation and On-Boarding Programs.
  • Employee benefits processing
  • Handle staff queries as well as interpret policy and provide guidance as needed.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports for payroll, staffing, grievances, and other areas as needed 
  • Prepare and maintain all company related correspondence to include job letters, etc.
  • Assist with the smooth functioning/operation/upkeep of all staff related areas and/or provisions.
  • Assist with organizing and executing employee and team building activities
  • Assist with the recruitment process where necessary
  • Maintain a healthy and productive organizational culture.

Qualification Skills and Knowledge:

  • BSc. In Human Resource Management or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of labour relation laws
  • Highly confidential
  • Effective communication skills, in order to deal tactfully and sensitively with persons at all levels.
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of individuals.
