The job holder will be a commercially focused professional, responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies to promote Seprod’s complete product portfolio, services and public image.

Objectives and Purpose of the Job:

The job holder will be a commercially focused professional, responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies to promote Seprod’s complete product portfolio, services and public image.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and implement the Marketing and Brand Strategies, ensuring they drive profitability and support the Company’s overall growth strategy.
  •   Set out clear market and brand/category KPIs for each innovation, concept and existing brand.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and budget per category ensuring focus on the categories driving consolidated profit.
  • Provide support to the sales team in the implementation of the Marketing Strategy throughout the sales process.
  • Monitor sales vs. budget and targets of key brands and develop actions to address possible deviations, in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure achievement of marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations towards strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, identify market opportunities and the competition ventures to include their market share.
  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events.
  • Monitor the progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit performance reports.
  • Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Lead the Marketing Team to ensure the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Company and its brands.
Requirements

 Academic/Technical/Management: Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution plus post-graduate certification in a related field
  • Five (5) years working experience in product marketing in the food service industry; At least 2 years experience at a senior decision-making level
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Creativity and commercial awareness.
  • Proven ability and skill in territory management, competitive analysis, establishing and maintaining client relationships; and conducting marketing and pricing surveys
  • Strong brand management and advertising skills
