The Digital Marketing Officer will work with Group Marketing to manage all the digital marketing and advertising needs of the company and to help drive traffic and awareness through these mediums.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with group marketing, remittance, Cambio and loans sales departments to execute the strategic plans outlined by the company’s business and marketing strategy, through digital marketing activities to achieve the relevant targets through timely and flawless implementation.
- Oversee all social and digital media strategy for customer engagement and brand awareness
- Manage and maintain the organization's websites LASCO Financial Services and its subsidiaries (LASCO Money, LASCO Microfinance and others) and ensure that content is refreshed regularly with relevant content and information
- Design website banners and pages and assist with web visuals
- Create and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and any other social media platforms used by the company and its subsidiaries.
- Create, track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
- Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
- Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website and use web analytics software to monitor the performance of the websites and make recommendations for improvement
- Write copy, design and curate content for email marketing campaigns
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments.
- Work closely with the Brand Executive to manage content on all Digital Screens under LASCO Financial Services Ltd and print material.
- Demonstrable experience of targeting and communicating with different groups, via a range of emerging and established social media channels.
- Any other related duties assigned by the Marketing Manager.
- Represent the LFSL Group at marketing related activities.
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our external partners such as graphic designers, marketing agencies, signage, media and POS suppliers along with our functional departments within the organization.**
- Create and deliver marketing briefs to external suppliers and partners to guide the development of campaign and or promotional strategies.**
- Work closely with Brand Manager (Card services) to create and execute overall digital marketing strategy for LASCO GOLD.
- Suggest new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organization’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.
- Assist with identifying and implementing improved office procedures**
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for marketing activities.**

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
BSc/BA in Digital Marketing or related field
Two or more years of experience in digital communications and marketing
Demonstrable experience as Digital Marketing Officer or similar role
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
Experience or a qualification in graphic design
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Video editing skills: Website and social media content
Website development skills: need sound knowledge of HTML/JavaScript
Computer literate – Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel. Power Point is a must.
Experience with B2C (business to consumer) social media, Google AdWords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM. (Search Engine Optimization/Marketing)
Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
Project Management skills
Skills and Experience in creative content writing.
