MegaMart Wholesale Club invites applications for the position of:

General Merchandiser

We are seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join our General Merchandiser Team.

Main Duties of the General Merchandiser:

• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves.
• Stocks shelves throughout the day and ensures stock levels are maintained.
• Merchandises goods appropriately to attract customers and promote sales.
• Ensures all merchandise is correctly priced and displays the correct shelf edges; communicates with shelf-edge personnel regarding updates.
• Ensures all items have barcodes affixed and replaces missing barcodes as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service, including maintaining visibility on the floor, answering questions about merchandise and promotions, and assisting customers in locating items.
• Answers telephone calls and responds to customer queries.
• Checks for misplaced items and returns them to the correct shelves or aisles.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 C.X.Cs including Mathematics and English
• One (1) year’ experience in General Merchandiser or related field
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to work on shifts.
• Must be able to produce a clean police record
