TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST – TEAM LEADER

As the TSS – TEAM LEADER, you will inspire your team to deliver measurable results for the store. In this role, you lead the people that help customers achieve ownership, learn new skills, get technical support, and find business solutions. Adaptable and flexible by nature, you’re composed and collected as you balance the diverse needs of your team.

In addition to team building, you create excitement around products, launches, programs, and initiatives. You're responsible for upholding our high standards regarding communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example delivering  exceptional customer experience in all interactions
  • Manage and maintain sales results and review with the team
  • Look for opportunities to improve business performance
  • Improve the capability of team members through coaching, training and transfer of own knowledge and skills
  • Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees
  • Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
  • Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
  • Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
  • Operate cash register and POS software
  • Complete accurate sales transactions

Qualifications

  • 2 years of college or similar retail experience in industry specific sales
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with previous experience in a customer-facing sales setting while supervising a team of  individuals
  • Passion for customer service and enthusiasm about improving the customer experience
  • Understanding of products from a sales and technical perspective
  • Understand the market and competitive landscape
