The Food & Beverage Trainer has an operational and functional scope that encompasses the planning, execution and supervision of training programs for the Food & Beverage department at Blue Diamond Resorts.

 

The Food & Beverage Trainer is responsible for designing, coordinating and delivering technical and operational training programs for F&B staff, ensuring alignment with Blue Diamond Resorts standards. This role aims to elevate service quality, ensure consistency in processes and contribute to the professional development of the team, fostering exceptional guest experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize the Academy 3-4 times a year, aligned with high seasons (Easter, summer, and Christmas).
  • Comply with the training program established for this purpose.
  • Design didactic content that combines theory and practice, recreating real operation scenarios.
  • Delivery of training sessions focused on key skills such as tray handling, customer service, service standards, hygiene, and safety.

  • Coordinate the transition of new hires from initial orientation to the on-the-job training program.
  •  Monitor the progress of participants and provide individualized feedback.
  • Apply evaluation tools and generate performance reports.
  • Ensure the implementation of operational standards and service protocols during training.
  • Conduct analysis of areas for improvement in collaboration with the quality team and the F&B Manager/director.
  •  Design a monthly program of practical sessions to address the identified areas of opportunity.
  •  Conduct practical training in specific topics such as mise in place, table service, complaint handling, and advanced bartending techniques.
  •  Measure the impact of training through metrics such as internal audits, performance evaluations, and staff feedback.
  • Coordinate and lead specific training sessions for EPIC Trainers on operational and leadership topics.
  •  Monitor the training of operational standards in real-time.
  •  Provide timely feedback and recommendations for improving performance.
  • Evaluate the impact of the work of EPIC Trainers and propose continuous improvements.
