We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial operations of our manufacturing company.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Develop, manage, and execute financial plans and forecasts to meet the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Perform regular analysis of manufacturing costs and variances, and recommend strategies for cost control and improvement.
    • Provide detailed financial reports and insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:
    • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for all manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Monitor and manage production costs, inventory levels, and labor costs to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize production processes, and reduce inefficiencies across departments.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
    • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial close processes.
    • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations while ensuring that reconciling items are investigated timely and cleared. 
    • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, regulations, and external audits.
    • Oversee the Payroll Team responsible for the weekly/monthly payroll process
  • Inventory & Working Capital Management:
    • Manage inventory accounting, ensuring proper valuation and control of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
    • Optimize working capital management, including cash flow forecasting, accounts payable/receivable.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Provide financial analysis and support for strategic business decisions, including product pricing, investments, and capital expenditures.
    • Partner with operations and production teams to drive improvements in financial performance, process efficiency, and product costings.
    • Support business growth by evaluating financial implications of new projects and cost-optimization initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews.
    • Foster a collaborative working environment with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, and production).
  • Adherence to the Company’s established good manufacturing practices (GMPs), Food Safety and Quality requirements.
  • Actively promote, support and comply with the Company’s established Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and industry best practices;
  • Performs any other job-related duties as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
