The incumbent will oversee all plant-level accounting functions, ensuring adherence to policies, the preparation of financial reports, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts. They will analyze and execute accounting processes to maintain proper documentation, processing, and control

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting functions for the plant.
  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Ensure plant compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee all audits related to the plant (e.g., PWC, Government, and Group).
  • Handle preparation, submission, and payment of all statutory taxes for the plant.
  • Conduct costing of materials and finished goods.
  • Share financial information and provide support to other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and audit requirements.
  • Adjust monthly accruals to meet business demands.
  • Monitor financial activities to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain the integrity of the accounting system to ensure effective and operational functionality.
  • Coordinate and prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Monitor and accurately account for all company assets.
  • Analyze past, present, and expected financial operations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide guidance to other departments on accounting, budgeting policies, and efficient financial resource utilization.

 

Required Knowledge:

  • Professional Accounting Qualification.
  • At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Spanish is considered an asset.

 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and cost analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial management practices.
  • Understanding of tax legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Business Planning and Consolidation systems.
