Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on general building repairs, including tiling and painting
• Successful completion of at least 5 CSEC/O'Level subjects
• Possession of Electrical and/or Plumbing certification would be an asset
• Able to lift, carry, and perform manual labor as required in facilities maintenance
• Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid T&T driver’s license for transportation between locations as required
• Must be willing to work full-time hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work weekends and public holidays based on business requirements
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and address them promptly and effectively

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform routine and emergency building repairs, including painting, tiling, plumbing, and electrical tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities
• Respond to emergencies and urgent repairs as needed, including potential weekends and public holidays
• Will be primarily based in the company’s East Trinidad location, but may be required to visit other company locations as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools and materials used
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by management based on business needs
