FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY COORDINATOR

The Food Safety and Quality Coordinator is responsible for monitoring compliance of the hotel standards, hygiene, sustainability and health and safety to ensure all the criteria and corrective actions established by the relevant regulatory agencies are met.

• Conduct audits in kitchens and F&B outlets in the areas of quality, hygiene and sustainability.
• Detect opportunities for improvement in procedures to avoid potential risks.
• Prepare audit reports to provide timely feedback to the operation. 
• Oversees that the required processes are established, implemented, and maintained to comply with audits accreditation/certification.
• Review Pest Control plans, cleaning programs, water and chemical controls.
• Collect and manage the storage of food, surface, and water samples and other relevant documentation from the Kitchen and the Food and Beverage Division.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Participate in audit walk-throughs and audit closing meetings including collecting feedback and actioning the resolution of non-conformances.
• Track progress of action plans developed after internal and third-party food and storage safety programs.  
• Ensure that changes, new procedures and/or controls are communicated effectively.
• Perform audits to Vendors, Warehouse, and/or off-site facilities when required. 
• Conduct training courses on good hygiene practices for all staff.
