As the Field Service Technician, you will be primarily responsible for deployment, installation, maintenance and servicing of the various brands of printer and multifunction equipment supported by the company.

FIELD SERVICES TECHNICIAN

You will be primarily responsible for deployment, installation, maintenance and servicing of the various brands of printer and multifunction equipment supported by the company.  The job will be defined by additional responsibilities and expectations, including but not limited to the following:

  • Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience,
  • Demonstrate good technical and customer relation skills,
  • Perform a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits on assigned equipment,
  • Perform Basic Connected installations, sets up IP addresses, download printer drivers and provide customer training on printing standalone and network devices,
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair or replace equipment components as necessary,
  • Demonstrate required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignment,
  • Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned,
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary,
  • Effectively execute all required territory management and call handling procedures,
  • Complete all required administrative tasks (paperwork) in an accurate and timely manner,
  • Comply with all company policies,
  • Be able to interact with external customers in order to determine service requirements and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed,
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain a productive and professional relationship with all company personnel,
  • Maintain a positive attitude

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar field
  2. A valid driver’s license 
  3. A reliable vehicle is preferred
  4. Experience involving computers and electronics,
  5. Experience in repair of office machines would be an asset,
  6. Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be an asset,
