Drive the Blue Waters Export business by opening new markets and territories while proactively managing existing customer to achieve the financial targets defined in the Export Strategic Plan.

Drive the Blue Waters Export business by opening new markets and territories while proactively managing existing customer to achieve the financial targets defined in the Export Strategic Plan. The job holder will Identify and capture all business opportunities in all Caribbean territories and other potential markets by negotiating with distributors ensuring that existing customers are retained, and the Company’s position remains profitable.He/she will monitor and ensuretimely coordination and execution of a high volume of export container shipments.

Key Result Area:

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

Identify and complete feasibility study to understand new market opportunities.

Develop a robust Commercial plan to open new markets.

Identify and evaluate specific new profitable business opportunities with current and potential Distributors.

Plan and execute persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

Work with the Commercial Manager to identify and evaluate markets, and new target clients and go after them within the guidelines, policy and procedure of the company.

Use knowledge of the markets and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Close new business opportunities, developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

Develop Brands in the Export Market and by extension participate in local market activities to give products higher visibility and increase market share.

Plan and execute successful launch of promotional programs, new products and packages.

CLIENT RETENTION

Maintain a relationship with current and new clients and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.

Build and maintain high level relationships with current and prospective customers.

Continuously follow up with existing customers and enhance existing customer relationships to grow business.

Review the Distributor Network and ensure that it is efficient and motivated.

Key Result Area:

FINANCIAL TARGET

Achieve monthly Cases, Revenue and Net Price targets.

Optimize pricing by territory.

Meet accounts receivables targets on a monthly basis.

Collect and analyzing data that leads to valuable decision making.

Key Result Area: REPORTING

Track and report on KPI’s performance to ensure that basis to measure performance.

Establish or adjust work procedures to meet customer demands.

Coordinate all services locally and regionally to meet customer satisfaction.

Submit Rolling Estimates (sales forecasts by customer and for total export) on time according routine

Submission reports on time and in full according to routine.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS & KNOWLEDGE FOR THE JOB

  • Bachelor Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • Masters in Sales, Business, Marketing or any other related field would be an asset
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing and Export in a similar role 

  • Knowledge of English speaking Caribbean territories 

  • Ability to travel to territories to build the brands and increase business opportunities
