Experienced Police Constable

The mission of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) is to make the Turks and Caicos Islands a safe and peaceful place to live or visit. The RT&CIPF invites applications from suitably qualified and eligible operational police officers to fill a range of duties across the front-line operational areas of policing.

Requirements: -

• You are between 18 and 40 years of age.
• Previously served as a Police Officer
• You are committed to serving the community and upholding the law
• You are honest and possess a high degree of integrity
• Vaccinated against COVID 19

Interested candidates for the role listed above must demonstrate: -

• A minimum of 5 years’ full-time service, continuous in an established police service Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a track record of policing experience in any of the

following areas: -

• Front line community policing
• Traffic enforcement
• Accident investigation and accident reconstruction
• Major investigations
• Public order command
• Intelligence analysis
• Tactical
• Child protection services
• Marine Policing

Note: Applicants will be subjected to rigorous background checks (Polygraph).

Unless otherwise approved by the Commissioner of Police, you will be allocated to a location as a General Duties officer, if successful in gaining admission to the RT&CIPF. All deployments will be determined by the operational needs of the Organization. No current 'fast track' Promotion program is being offered.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE:

BASIC SALARY: $37,748.00 per annum

Allowances:        $9,000.00 per annum
