The Executive Manager, ICT will report to the Chief Information Officer. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership and senior-level I.T. advice to meet organizational needs and guide strategic and operational decision-making for senior management and divisional employees.
The position holder will oversee all activities of the ICT function and develop and deliver ICT action plans aligned with the division's strategic framework to identify and build ICT services that support the achievement of objectives and targets.
The incumbent will direct and manage the ICT team to ensure that operational objectives are achieved, and that the organization continues to improve technologically in line with global improvements in ICT functionality. You will provide professional IT advice and services to the Executive Management Team as required as well as manage and ensure that ICT service level performance, costs, and benefits are delivered to support profitability.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Provides exceptional technical leadership to ensure that the ICT team meets organizational needs and guides strategic and operational decision-making for senior management and Divisional employees. Develops and implements effective KPIs to improve team performance and ensures the efficient, secure, and effective operation and performance of ICT infrastructure and equipment. Manages and mentors ICT staff, communicates job expectations, monitors performance, and delivers feedback for continuous improvement.
Demonstrates financial acumen by preparing and monitoring an annual budget. Leverages expertise to facilitate the procurement of Capex and Opex goods and I.T. services and ensures cost-effectiveness and value to the organization.`
Drives the technology strategy by exploring evolving technology for solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and optimize business processes.
Functions as a customer-focused leader, seeking and capitalizing on opportunities to exceed the expectations of customers (internal and external). Prioritizes and resolves customer-impacting issues in a professional and results-oriented manner, delivering superior service and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Works collaboratively with other departments to provide the organization with a holistic view of the current and future technology landscape.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or similar field as well as an MBA or Postgrad qualification in Business or Information Technology. You must also have at least five (5) years’ experience in a similar role and possess experience in technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems in a multinational organization. Prior experience in the aviation, telecom, IT security, cloud or airport industry will be considered an asset.
