Job Functions:

• Create and update EHS policies and procedures in accordance with Jamaican laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare reports on EHS performance and compliance issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees on health and safety practices.
• Promote awareness of environmental health and safety issues through workshops and seminars.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of incidents and safety-related documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to mitigate identified hazards.
• Monitor workplace conditions and implement necessary changes to enhance safety.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.
• Oversee environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management and resource conservation.
