Emergency Medical Technician Defensive Driver

Job Position : Emergency Medical Technician Defensive Driver

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Attending scenes of accidents or incidents

• Assessing the level of intervention needed and calling for further assistance if required

• Using life support techniques such as CPR

• Wound Treatment

• Pain Management

• Transporting patients to medical facilities and providing care on the way.

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

• Operate and drive ambulance according to safety policies 

• Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment

• Other duties required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• At least 5 CXCs; a degree would be an asset

•  EMT Driver Professional Certification/License

• Knowledge about basic life support/CPR 

• At least 2-3 years

• Must be willing to treat patients well in high-stress situations

Special Requirements:

• Must be flexible and willing to work weekends

• EMT Driver Professional Certification/License
