We are seeking qualified EIA Technicians

Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system failures.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems and hazardous materials.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities, including updating equipment logs and maintenance schedules.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and industry standards in EIA systems.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems
  • Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and process instrumentation would be an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs, wiring diagrams, etc.).
  • Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to electrical work.
