The Driver/Loader of Dispatch, Bond & Equipment is mainly responsible for performing driving and loading duties at the point of production and client location, operating the vehicle and equipment in accordance with company and aircraft safety requirements, and client specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Provides the safe, timely and efficient transportation and movement of finished product and equipment between the production and client locations.
  2. Ensures the maintenance of a clean and sanitary workspace in order to maintain quality control and company standards.
  3. Ensures adherence to the rules and regulations of the ramp in accordance with the Airport Authority’s handbook; ensures all health and safety standards are met at all times.
  4. Coordinates with internal departments and clients to ensure customer’s needs are met with accuracy, completeness and quality of product in accordance with menu specification. 
  5. Provides outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment at all times; handles all relevant queries from customers and ensures that departmental service standards are met and surpassed.
  6. Prepares all periodic documents, reports and invoices within agreed quality and delivery standards, ensuring both timeliness and accuracy.
  7. Assists with other team/departmental activities as needed towards achieving organizational objectives; ensures that proper internal security measures are always adhered to.
  8. Participate in the mandatory monthly stock count exercise.
  9. Be aware of and comply with all HSE rules and regulations inclusive of PPE, HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene.
  10. To assist in the completion of meals or meal set up for Restaurants and Production.
Additional functions to be performed as needed:
  1. Minimizes waste and ensures all gets recorded.
  2. Follow all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.
  3. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain safety and quality assurance protocols. 
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least three (3) years of experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • At least three (3) years of experience working in a Customer Service oriented environment.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the use of heavy transport vehicles (Heavy T-license is required).
  • Able to communicate in English orally and in writing.
Physical requirements
The role is required to spend extensive periods of time on your feet, it is recommended to take a few breaks throughout the day by sitting or exercising from time to time.
Travel requirements
The position requires no domestic or international travelling
