The Supreme Ventures Group is seeking to identify a suitable candidate to fill the role of Draw Officer. If you have a passion for hosting and entertaining, we want to hear from you.

DRAW OFFICER

 

The Draw Officer is responsible for coordinating, managing, overseeing, and executing the entire draw process and all relevant draw activities at the television studio and Draw Room. He/she will also conduct the necessary on camera tests and present the televised live draws in accordance with the mandate of the Standard Operating Procedures. He/she will also be required to take the lead and manage portfolios or departmental activities, in addition to completing administrative tasks as assigned by management.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Co-ordinate IGT and studio activities surrounding live draws.
  • Confirm winning numbers information and input into IGT system; input correct winning numbers for toll free results hotline.
  • Dispatch any relevant and approved draw information (winning numbers) to the media.
  • Ensure all required elements, equipment and personnel are in place for a successful draw process at studio and IGT.
  • Execute equipment checks and ensure all equipment are in working order for the process.
  • Safeguard the pre/live/postproduction processes and ensure they proceed smoothly.
  • Keep aware of the draw guidelines, the SOP and draw related regulation and compliance issues to keep the integrity and security of each draw.
  • Report any issues, incidents and deviations which arise within the draw process (orally and written).
  • Confirm accuracy of draw script prior to the start of the recorded process.
  • Conduct the on-camera tests for equipment and balls in accordance with the rules and processes of the SOP.
  • Present the televised live draws and be prepared to handle on-air emergency situations.
  • Complete other departmental or draw related tasks and duties as assigned by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Draw supervisor/Assistant manager

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Degree or certification in Communications, Media, Marketing, Customer Service, Business, or similar disciplines.
  • Certification or training in Voice and Speech.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar field (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent organizational and coordinating skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Focused; NOT easily distracted
  • Ability to adhere to, and enforce rules, structure, and processes
  • Flexible and easily accessible
