The Digital Design and Promotions Officer is responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing component of the Organisation’s Communication Strategy through the effective coordination of the Websites (internal and external), Social Media Sites, Customer Engagement Centre, Live Chat Integration and Training and Mobile Initiatives of the Organization and all related Entities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE:
ü NVQ-J level 5 Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines such as: Digital Communication/Designs, English, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or equivalent
ü At least two (2) years relevant experience in a comparable position and business environment
KEY COMPETENCIES:
ü Good Experience in Web Marketing/Web Design
ü Strong knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language and Photoshop
ü Strong knowledge of Web design processes
ü Good knowledge of Website Analytics Tools
KEY DUTIES:
ü Prepares Social Media Plan and Policy
ü Liaises with suppliers of Multimedia services in the execution of external multimedia projects.
ü Assists with the development and management of the Digital Advertising Campaigns
ü Develops, manages, edits and proofreads content for the Corporate Website, Intranet (front page and divisional portal) and other associated Websites
ü Monitors Websites and Intranet to ensure that all information is current and accurate
ü Liaises with other Departments to solicit content for the Websites
ü Researches, create and maintain Social Media related pages as required
ü Assists with the development and updates a comprehensive Social Media Strategy to increase visibility and traffic across all HEART/NSTA Trust Institutional and Commercial Brands
ü Monitors and participates in conversations to ensure that a positive image of the Organisation is maintained
ü Recruits followers/members/fans to official pages on an active basis
ü Responds to queries, concerns and comments received online, in conjunction with the other Stakeholders
ü Uses online resources to facilitate/engage conversations and raise awareness around the Organisation and its interests
ü Measures and reports on social media activities and recommends strategies for improvement.
ü Designs and manages Online Advertising Campaigns
ü Monitors emerging trends and makes recommendations for use of appropriate digital channels and other social media tools
ü Provides input into the development of Web-related Policies
ü Works closely with Marketing and Corporate and Media Affairs to ensure that Digital Marketing is a component of all media activities
ü Monitors the information in web environment to ensure it is always advantageous, accurate and up to date
ü Monitors the World-Wide-Web to detect, track and report on any mention of the Organisation and its Entities to include those generated by both internal and external sources
ü Conducts research to determine effectiveness of online activities, to inform Digital Marketing Strategy
ü Monitors consistency of brand and creativity across Digital Customer Touch Points
ü Provides design support to other business lines to create product Graphics, Logos, Identity Design, or other similar offline graphics
