DIRECTOR OF FINANCE/CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER serves as the chief administrative and financial services officer of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) and is responsible for providing leadership and administrative oversight for planning and directing the University’s business units.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Finance/CFO serves as the chief administrative and financial services officer of the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) and is responsible for providing leadership and administrative oversight for planning and directing the University’s business office and risk management functions and finance services. He/she will assume primary leadership responsibility for planning, implementing, and coordinating the administrative and financial programs of the University. The Director of Finance/CFO oversees the areas of Controller/Accounting Services, Business Office/Student Financial services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Director of Finance/CFO function typically reports directly to the President. In this senior role, the Director of Finance/CFO will oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the university’s administrative and financial services and departments by supporting and promoting profitable goals and objectives. He/she will advise the President and senior management on all financial matters affecting the institution’s operations, including annual budgets and financial audits, risk management, and financial planning in support of strategic and operational decision-making.
