OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named "Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)" operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide professional services and support to its member firm KPMG United States ("the Client").

JOB SUMMARY: 

This person is responsible for ensuring the security and quality of systems by coordinating vulnerability assessments and following up on trends to obtain evidence. Key responsibilities include maintaining the KPMG US application records inventory and producing weekly, monthly, and annual metric reports. Additionally, the role requires experience in all facets of Cybersecurity and a passion for learning and collaborating with other security professionals.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery

•Solid understanding of risk concepts and the impact of risk management
•Establish and report on KPI and metrics to gauge security effectiveness, progress and key risk areas 
•Continuously improve the security aspects of operating processes
•Manage and track residual risks, findings, and related documentation in GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) applications like Archer
•Analyze management reports using data analysis tools (excel, PowerBI)
•Understanding of Internet protocols (i.e., DNS, HTTP, TCP, UDP, TLS, IPSEC, SMB etc.).
•Serve as escalation for risk assessment team as it relates to outstanding security risks
•Solid understanding of data security concepts and control frameworks


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited educational institution, OR equivalent Professional Accreditation.
•Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience in cybersecurity and/or IT security management 
•Certification in CRISC, PMP is preferred
•Certification in CISSP, CISA, CEH is a plus
•Experience in handling and interpreting international compliance frameworks, penetration and vulnerability reports is preferred
•Experience in conducting security assessments for complex organizations is a plus
•Proficiency in establishing/maturing quality control processes is a plus
•Experience in project management is a plus
•Solid verbal/written communication, problem-solving, research, analytical, and independent judgement skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
•Ability to work independently and work well within a team
•Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
•Detail-oriented and thorough, with effective time management skills
•Ability to build relationships and credibility with numerous constituents
•Proficient in MS Office Suite

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
•Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
•Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
•May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
