The Group Technology Project Manager is a critical leader in this journey, overseeing high-impact technology projects across infrastructure, systems and applications. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, managing diverse teams and navigating complex challenges to achieve exceptional outcomes. Your leadership will be essential in fostering collaboration, driving innovation and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Project Leadership
    • Lead and execute high-priority technology projects, ensuring successful delivery of scope, timelines, budget and quality
    • Align projects with the organization’s strategic goals to drive innovation and business transformation
  • End-to-End Project Management
    • Oversee all phases of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure
    • Manage scope, budget, timelines, risks, resources and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Digital, Commercial, Customer Care, Finance, HR and external partners
    • Represent Technology confidently in key discussions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project priorities
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work effectively within a matrix-managed environment, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
    • Drive team engagement, ensuring accountability and collaboration among geographically dispersed team members
  • Risk and Issue Management
    • Identify project dependencies, risk and issues; develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
    • Monitor and control project progress, proactively managing changes to keep projects on track
  • Team Leadership and Motivation
    • Lead, coach, and inspire project teams to foster a high-performance culture and deliver outstanding results
    • Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability and continuous improvement

 

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with technical concentration (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering)
  • 3+ years of experience managing technology projects, ideally with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
