Customer Support Associate

Reporting to the Branch Underwriter, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering effective customer service by establishing a working relationship with internal and external customers through communication via mail, telephone and face-to-face using excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and services. Additionally, the role will entail accurate and timely receipting and securing of funds received, as well as the preparations of lodgement for deposits.

The position is based in Ocho Rios.  Our ideal candidate is an exceptionally detail oriented and organized individual, with a high level of confidentiality, honesty, integrity, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.  At minimum, applicants should possess the following:

• Passes in four (4) CXC/GCE Subjects including Accounts and Mathematics
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, standards and regulations
• Competence in the procedures used in handling, recording and depositing of monies
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually

• Strong customer relations skills, poise, tact and diplomacy
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong data entry, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint etc.]
