Customer Service Representative

 

Main Purpose of Job: 

Demonstrating a high level of customer service. Assisting and Creating invoices for customers at Solera, accepting payment from customers & balancing of cash and receipts at the end of the day whilst adhering to Solera Policies and Procedures.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities in Order of Priority:

  1. Demonstrates excellent customer service and promotes good practice within the shop and drive colleagues to achieve same.
  2. Required to adhere to Solera Policies and Procedures.
  3. Cashing duties inclusive of creating counterpoint invoices an accepting the various methods of payments of Cash/Cheque/Linx/ Credit Cards/ Points etc.
  4. Sets up and issues SOLERA Privilege loyalty cards / Whisky Cards etc.
  5. Daily Recording of all liquor licenses prepared in the Spirit License Book and ensures all stock and licensing books are always up to date.
  6. Counts float in the morning and secures float in the cashier drawer.
  7. Processing of e-commence orders.
  8. Wipes and dusts all shelves, showcases/display units and product.
  9. Packs, arranges and re-arranges all products on the shelf.
  10. Replenishes products in the showcase behind the cashier counter.
  11. Assists with the restocking of products in the display area daily.
  12. Engages/assists customers thoroughly with their inquiries any purchases.
  13. Completion of all finance sheets i.e. float handover and balance sheets by the end of their shift.
  14. Completes transactions with customers and ensuring the accuracy of the transaction.
  15. Balances all receipts daily and adheres to all such Policies and Procedures.
  16. Ensures the shop is maintained at a level suitable for customers to receive an excellent experience
  17. Informs Manager – Retail Operations or other appropriate manager of any concerns regarding noncompliance, in respect of Scope’s policies and procedures, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained to the highest level
  18. Keeps work area clean and tidy

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of Five (5) Ordinary Level Subjects.
  • At least 2 years’ customer service experience.
  • An equivalent combination of both experience and qualifications will be considered in lieu of minimum qualifications.
  • Microsoft Suite. (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work flexible hours—inclusive of Saturdays, Sunday, and Public Holidays.

 

Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of the company’s products manufactured and imported will be an asset.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
  • Health and Safety awareness
