Job Summary
Our client a dynamic organization specializing in equipment, procurement, and support solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Sales Representative. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of bids, quotes, and tenders while also overseeing customer orders and maintaining an efficient Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Your expertise will ensure exceptional service delivery, drive sales, and foster lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid, Quote, and Tender Management:
- Prepare and submit accurate, competitive quotes and proposals in response to tenders and RFPs from both public and private sectors.
- Coordinate with sales, legal, finance, and other relevant departments to gather necessary information and pricing details.
- Monitor and track the status of bids and tenders, ensuring timely follow-up with clients and adherence to deadlines.
Customer Order and Communication Management:
- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, offering prompt and professional responses via phone, email, or other channels.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and potential issues.
Administrative and Reporting Duties:
- Maintain detailed records of all bids, tenders, orders, and customer interactions within the CRM.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), bid success rates, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with company objectives
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in bid management, quotes, tenders, or customer relations within a similar industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional client relationships.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
