We are looking for a Credit & Collections Advisor to join our team. #PalladiumTalent

Job Functions

  • Assess and approve credit applications for guests, corporate clients, and vendors based on hotel policies.
  • Conduct credit risk analysis and set appropriate credit limits.
  • Maintain and update credit records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments via email, phone, and written correspondence.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
  • Coordinate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
  • Prepare and send monthly statements, invoices, and payment reminders.
  • Process and reconcile payments, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Generate reports on aging accounts, bad debts, and credit performance for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial standards, and legal requirements.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in credit and collections, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and financial systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
