Country Manager- Jamaica

The Country Manager in Jamaica provides broad general management of multiple programs.  He or she establishes and achieves objectives by overseeing the execution and implementation of organizational strategies based upon company objectives and budgets. 

  • Accountable for the financial and operational results (key metrics), as well as the development, implementation and communication of budgets, targets and business objectives for each site.
  • Accountable for the delivery of superior customer service to each client under management.
  • Accountable for client performance and satisfaction results, client retention, operational management of client growth requirements, and communication of client results, strategies and goals to clients and executive management.  
  • Manage the performance, development, and succession plan of diverse management and work force.
  • Analyse operational results relative to the key metrics established by executive management.
  • Communicate operational results to executive management using standardized reports and MIS, frequent verbal updates and participation in management meetings and operational review processes.
  • Ensuring compliance to all state, local and federal regulations (including FDCPA).
  • Ensure compliance with all company standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate to management all issues, concerns, violations and/or discrepancies with respect to all state, local and federal regulations, and all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop management standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures in conjunction with client needs and organizational strategies.
  • Establish current and long range goals and objectives while providing strategic direction for the sites and site managers reporting directly to them in conjunction with the organization through leadership and operational management.
  • Perform related duties as required.

Education and specific Training

College degree in related business field and/or equivalent experience

Work experience:

  • 5-7 years experience with progressively increased responsibility in the collection or financial service industries, including 1-2 years experience in operations management or equivalent management experience. 

Special Certifications 

Working and demonstrated knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
