Phase 3 Productions is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Videographer & Editor to join our creative team. This role requires a dynamic individual who can expertly capture and edit video content for a wide range of projects, including corporate events, live sports, entertainment productions, and promotional content. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and creative flair to produce compelling visual stories that align with the company’s high standards and client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Videography:
    • Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality video content for various projects, including events, interviews, and promotional videos.
    • Operate a range of video equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and gimbals, ensuring proper setup and technical execution.
    • Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts.
    • Conduct pre-shoot planning, including storyboarding, shot lists, and location scouting.
  • Editing & Graphic Design:
    • Edit video footage to create engaging and polished final products, using advanced editing techniques such as color grading, motion graphics, and sound design.
    • Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects.
    • Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine and finalize videos.
    • Export and deliver final video files in appropriate formats for distribution across various platforms.
  • Technical Support:
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with video equipment and editing software.
    • Maintain and organize video equipment inventory, ensuring all gear is in optimal working condition.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and editing software.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Broadcast cameras for live events
  • Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Solid understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound recording, and camera operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with live streaming and broadcast production is a plus.
  • Knowledge of drone videography and aerial photography.
  • Creative storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
