To contribute to the success of the department by providing advice on best practices and governance frameworks suitable to clients’ needs, and work towards same in an ethical manner, in line with best practices of a professional practice organisation.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support with the full range of Corporate Secretarial services with an emphasis on planning, tracking and meeting deadlines before the penalty period. Services:-
- Provide advice on compliance issues and corporate secretarial practice.
- Work with the Client Account Manager II – Technical to ensure that the compliance requirements for the publicly listed and other companies under the Technical portfolio are satisfied.
- Conduct research with respect to the Companies Act, 1995, the Foreign Investment Act, 1990, the Stamp Duty Act, the Immigration Act and any other Act deemed necessary.
- Liaise with the officers of the Companies Registry, Ministry of National Security, Board of Inland Revenue and any others which are deemed necessary.
- Prepare logical structured responses to all requests and queries from clients.
