About Us:
KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) is a dynamic delivery center operating from Kingston, providing support to KPMG United States. Our Pricing & Commercial Enablement Office is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Commercial Data Analyst to join our team.


Job Overview:
As a Commercial Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in facilitating data-driven decision-making by creating and presenting pricing data to senior partners. You will design and develop visually engaging and insightful dashboards using Microsoft Power BI, extract and transform data from various sources, and conduct research on commercial contracts.


Key Responsibilities:
•Design and develop interactive data visualizations, insights, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
•Research, interpret, extract, and load commercial data from Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and other sources.
•Participate in negotiations and persuade senior leadership to adopt data-driven decisions.
•Conduct weekly reviews with team members to track progress and address outstanding issues.
•Collaborate with various functional teams to document and map business processes and requirements.
•Act as the data subject matter expert, providing tool introductions, dashboard reviews, and issue troubleshooting.
•Build a thorough understanding of complex systems and data elements to create, support, and enhance reports, dashboards, and data sets.
•Identify opportunities for innovation within tasks, processes, and projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
•Present insightful data to facilitate pricing coaching sessions for senior partners.


Must-Have Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, finance, business analytics, or a related field.
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in operational and management reporting, data preparation, contractual negotiations, business intelligence, dashboarding, and ad hoc analytics.
•Knowledge of data visualization best practices and the ability to create visually appealing, informative dashboards.
•Intermediate skills in Power BI, including Power Query and DAX, and the development of visualizations and dashboards.
•Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, analytical, and independent judgment skills.
•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
•Ability to work independently and within a team.
•Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
