Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Corporate Banking team in the capacity of:
Client Service Assistant (Contract)
Act as the first point of contact for clients by welcoming and directing them based on their needs, relationship preference and available service options.
Support Relationship Managers by monitoring the service delivery ensuring that a high standard of professional service, including value-added after-sales service, is delivered.
Monitor client traffic to ensure that wait times are kept to a minimum.
Listen for opportunities and make recommendations including making referrals or proposing other channels to meet client needs.
Location: Kingston
As a Client Service Assistant, you will:
- Provide superior service by greeting and directing walk-in clients to the appropriate branch personnel.
- Action client queries and direct to appropriate resource for resolution.
- Ensure that product material and other client materials are readily available.
- Monitor waiting clients to ensure satisfaction Provide management with client feedback on their experience for inclusion in the feedback tracker report.
- Achieve assigned cross sell and referral targets by opportunity spotting and educating clients about appropriate products and services to satisfy needs.
- Print interim statements.
- Collect and dispatch incoming mails/ correspondence.
- Email/ call clients and follow up with clients’ queries.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- Minimum of a Diploma in Business Studies, Management Studies or six CSEC subjects including English Language and Mathematics from a recognized institution.
- Formal training in Customer Service would be an asset.
- At least one (1) year working experience in a Customer Service environment would be an asset.
- Prior experience in a Commercial Bank would be an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
- Knowledge of the Bank’s code of ethics and service standards.
- Customer-centric with good interpersonal communication and complaint handling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask.
