Description of Claims Concierge Specialist

Job Summary
Responsibility as a Claims Concierge Specialist is to settle life & health claims by evaluating facts of a customer's situation surrounding their claim. You are responsible for determining whether the loss is covered and what compensation should be based on the policy Benefit Schedule & guidelines. Investigate thoroughly to ensure that an insurance claim is not fraudulent. You may be required to contact relevant third parties including a doctor, hospital, and the insured.

1. Verify all claims for accuracy and approval.
2. Review incoming and outgoing claims documents.
3. Send off complete claim sheets to the international claims team.
4. Document authorizations or escalations to the Claims team manager or Caribbean Marketing VP.
5. Answer clients' billing or claims questions.
6. Communicate with the Insurance advisors on claims processing requirements.
7. Handle provider relationships with Hospital networks.
8. Review all Explanations of benefits being sent to the insured for accuracy.
9. Process Dental & Vision Claims weekly.
