CREW LEADER

The Crew Leader is an intermediary role that can lead to a managerial position.

Job Function 

The Crew Leader is a mastery role specialized in the greeting and serving customers, preparing menu items, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.   The incumbent is required to consistently perform and maintain the general upkeep of equipment and the restaurant.  

Duties and Responsibilites 

Sanitation:

1. Leads and perform sanitation procedures on:-
2. Counter tops,
3. Utensils
4. All working surfaces
5. Equipment
6. Beverage dispensers
7. Vegetables

 Food Preparation:

1. Leads the preparation of menu items according to prescribed individual recipe and in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
2. Leads and prepare assortment of ingredients according to established guidelines.
3. Adhere to restaurant-specific operations.
4. Follow and ensures all rotation procedures for meat, cheese, sauce, etc.

 Service:

1. Consistently performs cashing function in accordance with established guidelines and provide training and coaching when necessary.
2. Consistently demonstrate superior product knowledge, provide training and coaching when necessary.
3. Performs and advises Customer Service Team Member in areas relating to up-selling and suggestive selling.
4. Performs duties of Customer Service Team Member as required.
5. Independently handle and resolve customer queries, escalating if necessary.

 Training and Development

1. Lead, direct and provide on the job training on food prepping, pizza table, grilling, front counter and housekeeping duties. Provides guidance to new and existing Customer Service Team Members to uphold standards relating to these functions.
2. Assist with on-the-job training of new trainees on all workstations and procedures, sharing knowledge and experience on all tasks for the position of Customer Service Team Member.
3. Adhere to and assist with training staff in all relevant health and safety policies and customer service guidelines.
