CAR RENTAL AGENT

The incumbent will be responsible for interfacing with customers and ensuring they receive optimum service, while adhering to the policies as set out by the company.

Tropic Island Trading Company Limited/Budget Car Rental is seeking dynamic, hardworking, customer centric and results oriented individuals to fill the post of:

AUTOMOTIVE RENTAL AGENTS- KINGSTON & ST. ANDREW/WESTERN REGION

Some of the key duties of the position include:

* Taking rental reservations and entering into system.

* Answering telephones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.

* Opening and closing of Rental contracts.

* Qualifying each customer using the company's rental requirements guidelines.

* Computing charges and processing billing.

* Explaining rental fees and policies and procedures to the customers.

* Assisting with balancing the fleet and preparing daily condition reports.

* Posting non-revenue vouchers.                    .

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

* A minimum of two years' experience working in a customer service role.

* Knowledge of the rental industry would be an asset.

* A minimum of five CXCs, at Grades 1 or 2, with Math and English included.

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and email and internet usage.

* Excellent communicator, both written and oral.

* Proven track record for having successful customer interactions and for resolving complaints.

* Must be flexible and wiling to go the extra mile if required.

* Must have a valid Driver's License.
