Hygiene Services Associate

The Role

Gives support to teams on assignment by carrying out the instructions assigned for respective sanitation services. Ensuring punctual arrival while following the daily schedule in a timely manner. Carry out duties and the performance of a wide variety of sanitation services which includes operating sanitation equipment at client locations and facilities as required. Assist with movement of and setting up of equipment on the grounds as required. Report any issues to Team Lead/Supervisor/Manager in real time to be addressed quickly. Assist with reports or logs for completion of assignments as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out landscaping and ground maintenance as required.  
• Following training methods and usage of specialized equipment when needed as instructed.
• Ensure to maintain MOPS equipment with care and cleaning steps accordingly after usage.
• Use manual tools to clean and sanitize areas according to client request.
• Keep track of supplies required to complete jobs.
• Use chemicals issued and instructed by superior for specific areas. Adhering to mix ratio.
•  Ensure equipment are cleaned and returned to storage after use.
• Keep abreast of sanitation method and equipment used by MOPS as trained.
• Maintain MOPS safety regulations and have a commitment to safety.
• Follow all company procedures and abide by company code of conduct.

• Ability to handle company equipment with care
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Required Qualifications & Work Experience

• Must possess a current Food Handlers Permit  
• A current Bank Account
• Having a Driver’s License is an asset
• Possess a high school leaving certificate is an asset
• Completion and pass of a minimum 3 CXC subjects; a pass in English language and Mathematics is an asset
•  A background in housekeeping or janitorial services; mechanical and electrician maintenance is an asset
• Experience with inventory control and management is an asset  
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in janitorial or customer service related functions are preferred
