SHIFT CAFETERIA SUPERVISOR
The School Cafeteria and Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of
the school cafeteria and managing catering services for external events, such as church
gatherings, graduations, weddings, and corporate functions. The role ensures excellent food
service, financial efficiency, and customer satisfaction while leveraging social media
platforms to promote services and engage with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cafeteria and Catering Operations:
Oversee the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals in the cafeteria andfor catered events.
Plan and update diverse menus that cater to a range of dietary needs andpreferences.
Coordinate catering logistics, including menu customization, setup, service,and post-event cleanup.
2. Team Leadership:
Hire, train, and manage cafeteria and catering staff, ensuring a cohesive andefficient team.
Create schedules and assign tasks to meet operational needs and eventdeadlines.
3. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with school staff, students, and external clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for catering inquiries, ensuring timely andclear communication.
4. Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote cafeteria offerings andcatering services.
Create engaging content, including photos, videos, and posts, to highlightmenus, special events, and testimonials.
5. Financial Management:
Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue through efficient
resource allocation and pricing strategies.
o Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, expenses, and invoices
for cafeteria and catering services.
6. Compliance and Quality Control:
o Ensure all food preparation, handling, and storage meet health and safety
standards.
o Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and compliance with
regulatory requirements.
