General overall management oversight of locations assigned to ensure compliance, quality of output and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Operations

  • Identify potential agents for the GKMS network as needed
  • Conduct meetings with Agents and staff
  • Ensure company quarterly cash count process is completed and manage issues of discrepancy
  • Work closely with GKMS Operations Jamaica to ensure availability of human and material resources and support to agents
  • Manage stationery inventory at agent locations.
  • Conduct periodic assessment of the network
  • Conduct periodic training to CSRs and Agents
  • Completion of the Quality & Assurance Checklist - All Locations (Monthly)
  • Meet with the Regulators if required
  • Provide a quarterly market scan of the environment for business opportunities 
  • Liaise with Marketing Manager, to ensure effective branding in the network

 

2.      Administration

  • Be the representative or first point of contact on the ground for GKMS BVI Limited legal, and banking issues.
  • Submit monthly reports to Regional Operations Manager 
  • Engage in on-going research to constantly update knowledge of quality management tools, trend analysis, impact analysis, and risk management to enhance personal development and expertise available to GKMS. 

 

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies or related discipline with an emphasis on Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a middle management position in a banking or financial service environment
  • In depth knowledge of financial management models and tools
  • Analytic skills, ability to examine performance levels and forecast targets based on trend analysis and other external information
  • Ability to conduct impact assessments and analysis
  • Project Management, communication, negotiation, team building, decision making skills
  • Commercial awareness and innovativeness
