Croydon In The Mountains is a rapidly growing company in the tourist industry located in Catadupa, St. James, specializing in tours and recreation on our picturesque property.

 JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team to

develop the business plan aligned to the vision for the company. He/she is committed to developing agreed projects aligned to the successful achievement of the company vision.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for eco-tourism, strong sales and marketing skills, and a commitment to sustainability.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 Sales:

• Work with CFO to develop the budget to achieve Vision and profitability targets.
• Develop projects and programs aligned to the budget.
• Develop events aligned to the vision of the company.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
• Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Represent the property at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics
• Providing regular monthly reports to management.
• Oversee/Administrate the booking and reservation process, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed about eco-tourism industry trends, best practices, and sustainability initiatives.

Marketing:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract target audiences.
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
• Collaborate with the design team to create compelling promotional materials and content.
• Maintain and update the company website, ensuring accurate and engaging content.
• Utilize SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques to drive online traffic and conversions.
• Manage public relations efforts, including writing press releases and coordinating media coverage.
• Analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.

 EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of eco-tourism principles and sustainable practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for nature, conservation, and sustainable tourism.

  RESIDENCE

The ideal candidate should reside in St. James.
