Job Summary:

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role includes managing staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day hotel operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead and supervise the front desk team to ensure excellent customer service.

 

Manage guest check-in, check-out, and overall reception experience.

 

Address guest complaints, ensuring prompt and appropriate solutions.

 

Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and other departments to meet guest needs.

 

Monitor and control room inventory and pricing, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue.

 

Maintain front desk equipment and supplies.

 

Prepare and manage staff schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.

 

Provide training and development for front office staff.

 

Handle billing and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of any issues.

 

Conduct regular audits of the front office processes to ensure standards are met.

 

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel standards.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in front office management or a related role.

 

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

 

Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS).

Job Summary:

The Assistant Chief Steward Manager supports the Chief Steward in managing the stewarding department, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house. The role involves overseeing a team responsible for the maintenance of kitchen equipment and ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Assist the Chief Steward in supervising the stewarding staff to ensure cleanliness in all food preparation areas.

 

Manage the dishwashing process, ensuring all kitchenware and utensils are cleaned efficiently and returned to service promptly.

 

Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, in compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

Coordinate with the kitchen and banquet staff to ensure sufficient supplies of clean kitchenware during service hours.

 

Assist in managing inventory, ordering cleaning supplies and chemicals, and ensuring proper storage.

 

Train and mentor stewarding staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols.

 

Supervise and perform inspections of kitchen equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and functionality.

 

Assist in scheduling staff shifts and overseeing daily operations in the absence of the Chief Steward.

 

Support in budget management for cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment.

 

Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety regulations and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.

 

 

Requirements:

 

At least 2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or kitchen operations.

 

Strong knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards.
