To develop, recommend and implement marketing plans and promotions so as to facilitate the achievement of established corporate objectives.

  1. KEY DUTIES

 

  • Develop, recommend and implement strategies, plans and promotions to facilitate the achievement of the company’s marketing objectives. 
  • Propose and implement plans and programmes on media promotions and product launches.
  • Manage implementation of the company’s promotional activities so as to ensure the achievement of established marketing goals and objectives.
  • Monitor brand performance to ensure conformity with marketing forecasts.
  • Monitor distribution levels and shelf presence through regular and scheduled trade visits.
  • Maintain records of local and export monthly sales.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales budgets, forecasts and annual business plans.
  • Review and analyse the execution of promotions, report on findings and recommend appropriate adjustments and initiatives.
  • Conduct external product testing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare draft budget proposals and administer approved budgets.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the job function
  • Ensure 100% compliance of Human Resources Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure 100% compliance with HSE guidelines and processes
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards

Requirements are as follows:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • At least five (5) years experience in Marketing and/or Sales of which at least three (3) years should be at a similar level
  • Experience in the Manufacturing sector would be an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be creative and able to multi-task while paying attention to detail
  • Must be self- motivated and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
