Bookkeeper
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and generating financial reports. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in payroll processing, including tax calculations and deductions.
• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with correct financial data.
• Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
• Assist with tax preparation and audits as required.
• Collaborate with accountants and other financial professionals to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
