Coordinate, negotiate and supervise the tasks in the food and beverage service

BANQUET MANAGER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team.

The Banquet Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet operations, including planning, organizing, and executing events and functions. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events and functions, including weddings, conferences, and other special events. Manage and supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
  • Ensure that all events are executed according to the highest standards of quality and service
  • Work closely with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences and ensure that all details are met
  • Create and maintain banquet event orders, timelines, and budgets
  • Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to ensure everyone is prepared and informed
  • Oversee set-up, service, and clean-up of events, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable 
  • Monitor and control banquet expenses, including labor and supplies, to meet or exceed budgeted targets 
  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, and coordinate with purchasing department for any necessary orders
  • Train and develop banquet staff to maintain high levels of service and professionalism 
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a banquet management or related role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Food & Beverage Upselling Agent

Job Summary:

The Food & Beverage Upselling Agent is responsible for enhancing guest experiences by promoting premium food and beverage options across the resort. This role involves identifying guest preferences, suggesting menu upgrades, and driving additional revenue through upselling strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide personalized recommendations for food and beverage upgrades.
  • Promote specialty menu items, premium drinks, and add-ons to guests.
  • Understand and communicate the features and benefits of various menu items.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth delivery of upsold items.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and adjust recommendations accordingly.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, seasonal offerings, and menu changes.
  • Track upselling performance and prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
  • Handle guest inquiries about menu items and dietary restrictions with professionalism.
  • Provide feedback to management on guest preferences and popular items.
  • Assist in creating and implementing new upselling techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales, food & beverage, or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktails.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in upselling or cross-selling in hospitality or F&B.
