Responsible to keep up to date the technical information on the servers and/or BIM Cloud Platform.

Objective

Responsible to keep up to date and coordinated with Mexican office´s Information controller, the technical information on the servers and/or BIM Cloud Platform.

 

Responsibility:

  • Follow up the In Site information control of the project:
    • Keep drawings sets up to date (hard copy)
    • Keep Operation, Installation, and Maintenance manuals up to date (hard copy)
    • Receive and follow up notifications of information transmittals to deliver to contractors
    • Detect and report In Site issues.
    • Generate progress reports and keep statistics regarding information.
  • Responsible for generating visual reports (site tracking), take pictures on site and upload information to different reporting repositories. Desirable use of drone.
  • Use the 3D laser scan to capture the geometry for the installations under construction or equipment/components to be installed.
  • Have knowledge of how to operate Auto CAD, BIM Applications (Navisworks, Revit, Tekla, BIM360 & ACC), plotter and MS Office 365 suite.
  • Have knowledge of BIM methodology to Involve yourself on:
    • 4D development and contractors follow up.
    • Coordination with BIM Office Supplier.
    • Support to 3D scan survey in coordination with Civil Discipline and BIM Coordination in Monterrey Office
    • 3D models manipulation
  • Support Project Administration Team on Weekly and Monthly report integration, gathering information from other areas of project (such as procurement)
  • And any other activity that may arise regarding office, team support and administrative issues.
  • Have Knowledge of industrial security procedures.

 

Required Education/Expertise/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture.
  • Ability to work in a team (internal and external).
  • Presentations skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proactive.
  • Capacity to identify and address future treats to the project development
  • Proactive.
  • Effective communication

 

Required Experience:

  • Experience at least one year in document control (blueprints, calculation reports, manuals, work logs).  
  • Experience in operating CAD files and Navisworks (Revit desirable).
  • Any construction experience, use of drones and laser scanners.

Note: This position es temporary around 6 months.
