We are in search of a Assistant Housekeeping Manager whose primary goal is to help direct and control all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department.

We are in search of a Assistant  Housekeeping Manager whose primary goal is to help direct and control all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager coordinates between housekeeping crews in order to inspect assigned areas and to ensure standards.

 

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist with Administating all housekeeping facilities and ensure secure environment for all guests
     
  • Monitor and ensure response to all client requests and maintain company standards at all times
  • Monitor all sub activities for departments and maintain records of all expenses and control all costs for department and recommend ways to increase efficiency
  • Design all housekeeping policies and procedures according to required standards and schedule all duties for staff
  • Maintain safety and hygiene standards
  • Ensure staff evaluations are completed according to company requirements
  • Professionally address all disciplinary issues within the department
  • Assist with Managing and analyze all incoming supplies and ensure compliance to all specifications and prepare all reports to be to be presented to management.
  • Ensure policies, guidelines, rules and regulations of the Hotel are upheld within the department.
  • Assist with guest complaints and requests as necessary
  • Conduct regular audits of the housekeeping procedures and
  • Liaise regularly with the maintenance, front office and laundry departments
  • Establish the motivational climate in the department
  • Ensure staff has the necessary tools to complete their jobs and report any discrepancies to the Rooms Division Manager
  • Implement strategies to minimize the department’s cost
  • Perform other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 
 
  • BSc or Associate Degree in Business Management/Hospitality and Tourism Management
     
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity in a 5-star all-inclusive hotel
  • Training in management and/ supervisory skills
  • Must be computer literate.
