Assistant Accountant- Guardian Media Limited

The Assistant Accountant will support the Finance Department by preparing monthly accounting reports, reconciling general ledger accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities: 

• Reviews and maintains reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts monthly (including Subsidiary Ledgers to General Ledger)
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and journals
• Prepares monthly financial statements
• Plans, organizes, reviews and supervises the accounting team
• Performs transaction processing functions such as supplier invoice processing and payroll input
• Assist with the month-end closing process
• Responsible for stock counts, variance reports and data entry
• Prepares and maintains file for Audit Schedules
• Prepares reports for statutory payments including VAT
• Works on special projects necessary to support internal and external customer satisfaction initiatives.

 Qualifications/ Experience

• ACCA-Level III
• 2+ Years bookkeeping/ General accounting experience
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP would be desirable 

Or any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
