  • Design courses of an appropriate level for the participate
  • Develop new courses to support the new or changing needs of the market
  • Assess students’ performance through variety of methods
  • Monitor the success and relevance of a course, in order to predict the future necessary developments and changes
  • Develop and implement new methods of teaching to reflect changes in research
  • Utilize effective teaching and assessment strategies to enhance students’ learning and development  in the courses assigned each semester
  • Maintain records of students’ attendance and assessment
  • Set and mark tests and final exams and submit grades as scheduled
  • Participate in vetting, reviewing or second marking sessions
  • Participate in final exams invigilation as timetabled
  • Supervise assigned students in Programme-related research, outreach and practical activities
  • Coordinate and participate in research activities to enhance the College
  • Participate in the planning and supervision of outreach activities for the department
  • Establish collaborative links outside the College with industrial, commercial and other public organizations
