Position-Accounts Clerk

 

Job Description:

• Verification and reconciliation of the tickets issued in Travcom
• Data entry of tickets/receipts/cheque payment vouchers to Sage/Travcom Accounting system
• Preparation of VAT
• CWC credit card reconciliations
• Posting of cheques, petty cash vouchers
• Confirmations of deposits/WT/Cheques with Republic Bank
• Preparation of WT/drafts/cheques
• Dealing with queries on ALL customer accounts
• Assistant duties when required
• Filing in forms ie. KYC/Vendor registration/Bank accounts/Credit Card
• Submitting/Following up of Pension refund forms
• In the absence of other staff members may be asked to deal with queries
• Bank reconciliation
• P&L, Balance Sheet reports
• CWC Invoicing of the company's credit card Payment of corporate credit cards Preparation of all quarterly taxes
• Cable & Wireless reports Data entry of BSP reports Reconciliation of BSP reports Posting ADM’s, ACM’s Paying vendors
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports
• Preparation for yearly audit with Auditors
• Journalentriestoclosefinancialyear
• Cut-off procedures

• 5 CXC passes Math and English included
• Level 2 ACCA or equivalent combinations of knowledge and experience
