 Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Accountant(s) and ensuring the accurate monitoring, and reporting of financial performance, particularly for company owned and operated service stations. This role includes preparing bank reconciliation statements, managing accounting for expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key deliverables will include but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and preparing financial reports for company-operated service stations
  • Ensuring accuracy in bank reconciliation statements
  • Supporting general ledger maintenance.
  • Accurately account for service station-related expenses, monitoring deposits, and reconciling daily cash and credit card sales.
  • Tracking and reporting on financial performance
  • Assisting in the preparation of performance reports and identifying areas for operational improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Maintaining internal controls and supporting audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
  • Assisting with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and other accounting tasks as needed.

  • strong organizational skills and attention to details.

Qualifications & Experience

  • First-Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline
  • Pursuing professional certification such as ACCA, CPA
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics).
